What elements must be in a press release?

Every press release distributed by SBWire must contain the following elements.

- The press release must include valid contact information including a contact name and a contact email address or phone number. Contact information will automatically be added to your press release based on your submission.

- The press release must contain a descriptive headline. Capitalize all words in the headline except for "a", "an", "the", "of", "to", and "from". Do not UPPERCASE the entire headline.

- The press release must include the location of your company (city, state and country if you are located outside of the US). Location information must be accurate! Location information will automatically be added to your press release based on your submission.

- The press release must contain at least three descriptive paragraphs which cover the basic information of who, what, when, where and why.

- The press release must include an "About" or "Boilerplate" paragraph that includes information about your company, such as:

About <COMPANY NAME>
<COMPANY NAME>, (<WEB ADDRESS>), based in <LOCATION>, is a leading provider of <PRIMARY PRODUCT OR SERVICE>. <COMPANY NAME> provides <PRIMARY PRODUCT OR SERVICE> to <TARGET MARKET OR FEATURED CLIENTS>.
